  • Our Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) Phase 1 LNG project offshore Mauritania and Senegal is fully accounted for in our net zero ambition, and is aligned with our biodiversity position
  • We can reach net zero by 2050 or sooner and help Mauritania and Senegal produce these resources
  • We want to help conserve the marine ecosystem in Mauritania and Senegal, including through our work with scientists to develop a biodiversity action plan and our ongoing engagement with fishing communities 
  • Gas production can play an important role displacing other more carbon intensive fuels, and by bringing positive benefits to Mauritania and Senegal through domestic energy supply and revenue generation
