The visitors were greeted by Orlando Alvarez, regional business leader NAGP, and Tom Halaska, general manager Westlake Property Management, who led the group on a walking tour of the reconstruction areas of Westlake One, which was heavily flooded during the storm.

Perry and Culberson then went to Helios Plaza where they were briefed on how staff temporarily worked there following the hurricane and how trading floor employees were deployed to other locations.

Houston is home to BP’s U.S. headquarters, and it also represents the company’s largest employee base anywhere in the world. The company has other high-tech facilities in Houston, including its Global Monitoring Center and its Center for High-Performance Computing.
