MiFID II (the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive) and associated delegated regulations require that investment firms publish an annual execution report. This includes the disclosure of the firm’s top five execution venues for each class of financial instrument.
BPIM is a signatory to the Financial Reporting council (FRC) stewardship code. BPIM’s stewardship code statement contains the firm’s policy on stewardship principles and activities, including criteria for shareholder engagement. The firm is currently reviewing its
approach to shareholder engagement with respect to obligations under the Shareholder Rights Directive II (SRDII) and will be publishing an updated policy in due course which will also be aligned with the FRC’s new and updated stewardship code soon to be published.
