BP has been present in Brazil since 1957 and currently operates in lubricants (Castrol) and biofuels (BP Biofuels) production, oil and natural gas exploration and production (BP Energy), distribution of aviation (Air BP) and marine fuel (BP Marine/NFX).
We currently employ around 7,000 people at our various business sites. We have activities in 15 states (Amapá, Bahia, Ceará, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte, Santa Catarina and São Paulo) and in the Federal District.
