BP and David Jones have today opened their first store in collaboration in Bayside, Melbourne, to deliver fresh, high-quality products, innovative convenience offers and shape the way Australian consumers shop for food.
BP has a proud history of operations in Australia and in 2019 the company celebrates its centenary. To mark the milestone, BP has commissioned six established and emerging artists from around the country whose inspired artworks will form an exhibition that represents BP’s contribution to Australia through the decades.
BP has awarded its first Advancing Low Carbon accreditation in Australia to its community partnership with leading food rescue organisation, OzHarvest. In 2018, the organisation rescued 8,517 tonnes of food, which in turn, saved 5,300 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent from being released into the atmosphere.
Australia’s only Indigenous Business Master Class program, MURRA, is expanding in 2019. For the first time, participants from not-for-profit, native title and corporate sector leaders will be invited to participate, and the number of participants welcomed into prestigious leadership development program will double.
