Looking back at AAD in South Africa
We were extremely proud to be a gold sponsor at the Africa Aerospace and Defence (AAD2018) expo, which was held at Waterkloof Air Force Base in Pretoria, South Africa last month.
The five-day bi-annual event is Africa’s only aerospace and defence expo to combine a trade exhibition with an airshow. Having grown our presence in Africa significantly this year to almost 40 locations, AAD provided a great platform to establish and strengthen relationships with government departments, businesses and defence organisations throughout the continent. Our local team certainly had a busy week manning the booth, participating in panel discussions and seminars and updating customers on all our latest news, including our technical services offer and low-carbon solutions for the region.
Indulging our caffeine fix at the Air Charter Expo
We had a great turn out at our stand (which doubled up as a coffee lounge) at the Air Charter Expo (ACE) last month. Held at London Biggin Hill Airport (BQH/ EGKB) in the UK, the one-day event, which we also co-sponsored, was well attended by 1,000 brokers, operators and aviation professionals. It provided a great networking opportunity with more than 60 exhibitors and 20 aircraft on show.

Getting down to business at NBAA-BACE
This month we are looking forward to exhibiting at the NBAA-BACE Conference in Orlando, Florida from 16-18 October. Ranked as the third largest trade show in the US, this year’s event is expected to attract more than 25,000 industry professionals. Visitors to our stand will have the chance to find out more about our environmental initiatives and compete in a competition to win some Red Bull Air Race memorabilia.
Attending this year’s NBAA-BACE? Orlando International Airport (MCO/ KMCO) is just over 20km from the Orange County Convention Centre, where the show will be held. It’s open 24 hours and has a dedicated general aviation service. Find out more about this location by clicking here.
